About the Company

The company is a global leader in packaging solutions, specialising in sustainable paperboard and carton packaging for various industries worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth operation of gluing machines by setting up equipment, feeding materials, and monitoring machine performance to maintain production efficiency.
• Follow site-specific quality procedures rigorously, checking job bags, and reporting any defects or faults promptly to maintain high product standards.
• Maintain a “Safety First” attitude by adhering to line clearance procedures, ensuring only one job operates per machine area, and performing general cleaning duties for a safe work environment.
• Liaise closely with Gluing Supervisor and Operators, assisting in machine setup, job preparation, and troubleshooting technical issues to support departmental goals.
• Support other departments such as Printing or Die cutting as required, attending meetings, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.

What You Will Need:

• Previous experience within the Gluing/Printing/Die cutting field and/or factory experience
• Strong verbal and written skills, able to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience and knowledge within machine assisting
• The ability to take the initiative and be self-driven, the ability to be team focused
